Alaa Ashmawy is a global leader in higher education and engineering research management. He is a licensed engineer in Florida and Egypt and a geotechnical researcher. He was elected President of the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES) in 2020-2022 and served several terms on the Executive Committee of the Global Engineering Deans Council. Before his current position as President of Deraya University in Egypt, he was CAO at University of Balamand Dubai and Dean of Engineering at American University in Dubai. Earlier in his career, he spent 10 years on the faculty at the University of South Florida.

Dr. Fadi Aloul is the Dean of the College of Engineering and a Professor of Computer Science & Engineering at the American University of Sharjah (AUS), UAE. Dr. Aloul holds a PhD and MS degrees in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, respectively, and a BS degree in Electrical Engineering summa cum laude from Lawrence Technological University, Michigan, USA. His research and industrial interests are in Cyber Security, Mobile Applications, Teaching Innovation, and Design Optimization. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Reviewer for the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA). Dr. Aloul received a number of prestigious awards including the Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC) Airbus Engineering Diversity Award, the H.H. Sheikh Khalifa, UAE’s President, Award for Higher Education, the Sheikh Rashid's Award for Outstanding Scientific Achievement, the Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Young Arab Researchers, and the AUS Excellence in Teaching Award. He has 145+ publications and 1 US patent. He is a regular invited speaker and panelist across a number of international conferences related to Cyber Security, AI, Technology, Innovation and Education.

Rawya Rizk is a Professor of Computers and Control in the Electrical Engineering Department, at Port Said University (PSU), Egypt. She is the Vice-President of Post Graduate and Research. Dr. Rana Maya obtained her PhD in Construction Engineering and Management (2009) with a specialization in Quality Management and performance improvement in Construction Projects. She has been a faculty member of civil engineering faculty since 2010 Head of the Internal Audit at Tishreen University in Syria, and now director of quality and accreditation at Al-Sham private university and associate professor at BIM master program at Syrian virtual university. Today, Maya is an associate professor, Director, and Certified Lead Auditor for quality management and Engineering management consultant. supervises students working on a master's and PhD thesis in construction engineering and management and contributes at international research projects and to publications in refereed scientific journals at home and abroad and is part of an organizational excellence specialists team in Canada.

Prof. Reem Bahgat obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Imperial College London in 1991. She has been a Faculty Member at Cairo University since 1993. From 2016 till 2020, she was the Director of the Egyptian Bureau for Cultural and Educational Affairs in London, UK. From 2014 till 2016 she was Assistant to Cairo University President for Informatics and Information Technology. Prior to that, she was the Dean of Faculty of Computers and Information at Cairo University for five years. Dr. Bahgat was also a co-founder and Deputy Director of the Centre for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage, affiliated to Bibliotheca Alexandrina and supported by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. As Advisor to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology since March 2020, she led the team for establishing Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) and was selected by the Board of Trustees to be its first President.

Dr. Yasmina Berboua Ziari is Professor of Industrial Engineering at USTHB in Algiers. She has a passion for women entrepreneurship, and is charge of the entrepreneurship department at USTHB.
