PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

 

• Each speaker will be allotted 30 minutes’ presentation (25 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A).
• All speakers must ONLY use the conference PowerPoint template which will be provided by the conference organizer for their presentations.
• You should not require any more than an absolute maximum of 20 - 25 slides.
• Use high-quality graphics and photos. Keep graphs and tables simple, and make sure they are legible and appropriately labeled
• Don’t overload slides; make sure each has only one message, and the text is written in large enough font to be easily visible
• Do not put too much text on a slide – you want the audience to listen to you and not to be reading your slides.
• All presentations must be submitted in PowerPoint and PDF formats before the allocated deadline. It will be downloaded onto the conference computer ahead of time to facilitate a smooth transition between speakers.
• Bring your presentation on a data stick or other portable memory devices for emergency purposes.
• You will not generally be able to plug your own laptop into the conference projection system. If you require special technology for your presentation, please email maged@menaree.com or maged@selemco.com as soon as you can and we will do our best to help you.
• The sessions are meant to focus on technical and knowledge-based presentations. While it is fine to mention directions and technologies a speaker or their parent organization is building or selling, the sessions are not expected to be used for blatant selling or marketing purposes.
• the ownership of all the submitted presentation transferred to the conference organizer for any use in the future   
• Presentation will be distributed to all event attendance and other parties

 

 

 

NOTICE OF FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY

 

Please be advised that photos, video, and audio footage will be taken at this event. By entering the event premises, you give consent to SELEM DMCC and it is partners to photograph and video record your presence at the event, and its subsequent release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by SELEM DMCC and its partners. You release SELEM DMCC, its employees, and every person involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, video and audio recordings. By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web-casting, televising, or other publication of these materials. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by SELEM DMCC or the person or entity designated to do so by SELEM DMCC.

You give consent to SELEM DMCC and it is partners to use your Communication details for any purpose


SPEAKER GUIDELINES

 

• Each speaker is expected to be at the venue about an hour earlier before their allocated session schedule to allow for an introduction, final presentation checking, AV requirements, etc.

• Each speaker will be provided with a Speaker Badge which will allow access over all days of the event. Speakers may pick up their badges in the Registration Area.
• The speakers should provide information keeping in mind that this conference is a public forum and any information that may be covered by confidentiality, IP, may be of controversial nature, impinging on the rights of a third party or contrary to local laws/customs/regulations or of an objectionable kind in terms of language/adult /political/disparaging nature should be avoided at all times and any action to the contrary may be subject to action by relevant authorities and the speaker shall personally be responsible for such actions and SELEM DMCC, or its partners will be indemnified from such actions.
• All speakers are expected to be civil, polite, and respectful to other participants and the audience of the conference at all times.
• All Speakers shall submit their passport copy before, as one from the requirements of the host hotel.
• We expect all Speakers to have any personal insurances that you may consider necessary to cover your trip and participation.
• All Speakers, especially the international speakers, should ensure that they have secured their airline tickets, hotel accommodation and visa ahead of the event. 


Conference reschedule/cancellation

 conference Organizer has full rights to reschedule or cancel the conference for any unforeseen risks.
